Our customer base is global with distributors in Europe and Asia.
We are searching for a full-time Material Handler / Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and timely delivery of products to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by updating records and performing cycle counts.
- Accurately pick and prepare materials kits for manufacturing.
- Pack and prepare outgoing shipments of finished products.
- Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Organize and maintain cleanliness in the warehouse and shipping/receiving areas.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding inventory discrepancies or shipping issues.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Cross-train to support other departments and take on additional responsibilities, including assisting in manufacturing when required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record.
- 2+ year of experience in shipping, receiving, or material handling preferred.
- Knowledge of basic technical drawings and related inspection equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP or inventory systems experience preferred).
- Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
- Willingness to cross-train and flexibility to take on additional responsibilities in a small company environment.
- Forklift certification.
Personal Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and standing.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment safely.
